More College FUN!

I know I already posted a lot about college, but I figure a few more pictures won't hurt!

 Me and Erin got a little bit crazy about cleaning the last few weeks we were there! There were a lot of bugs on the light in the kitchen, so we were trying to vacuum them up!

The last night me and Erin were at the apartment by ourselves, so we decided to sleep in the living room! We pulled our mattresses out and slept in there!

This was one of our FHE activities, we were doing a "Chopped" challenge, with the special ingredient being bananas! We made banana nut muffins, they were delicious! Our group won, of course! ;)

Happy Birthday Lauren!

Today is my Sister Lauren's birthday! I just wanted to do a post to wish her a happy birthday!

Happy Birthday Lauren! I love you! I am so grateful that you are my sister and that we are so close! I have looked up to you my whole life and have always wanted to be like you! I am so proud of you and everything that you have accomplished! I love you and your sweet little family! I am so glad that I could be there when you brought sweet little Addison into this world! You are an amazing woman and mother! I love you so much! Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday Jeremy!

Today is my oldest brother, Jeremy's birthday! I just wanted to post a little something to let him know how much I love him! I love you Jeremy! Happy Birthday! I am so grateful that we were blessed to be born into the same family! I am so grateful that our family will be together forever! I love you and your cute family! I can't wait to meet your new sweet little baby girl in a few months! You are a great father and husband! I am so glad that I can call you my big brother! I love you! I hope that you have had a wonderful birthday! (Sorry these aren't the best pictures, but  I didn't have too many of you on my computer!)

College Fun!

So I have decided that I want to post a little about my first semester at BYU-I! We had a lot of fun adventures! We went to free concerts at Sammy's, had lots of ice-cream, went to the temple to do baptisms, welcomed a cat into our apartment, cleaned up spilled laundry detergent (yikes!! That was a mess!), made signs for our door, pulled all nighters, baked and of course the regular green face mask was in order! I had so much fun at school this semester! I loved all of my roommates, I mean we had our moments when we didn't get along, but overall we got along great! I am so glad that I decided to go to BYU Idaho!

We had a lot of tears this semester, I guess that is expected with six girls sharing one apartment. To let out our tears we did "shots" of Cream Soda and played My Life is the Worst Because...

This was a great semester! I met so many great people and had a blast! I will post more about our adventures soon!

A little bit about me

My name is Danielle. I am 19 years old (Holy cow! I can't even believe that).  I am currently attending school at Brigham Young University-Idaho and just completed my first semester as a freshman. I am majoring in Elementary Education and have always dreamed of becoming an elementary school teacher, I can't wait to make it to my life long goal! I am off track until April, so that means I am living at home until then and have a little bit of time on my hands!

I love to bake! My favorite thing to bake is cakes. I really love frosting cakes and cupcakes and coming up with new designs and flavors!

Here are a few cakes and cupcakes that I have made over the past few years..

I hope to make many more cakes and cupcakes throughout the next few months! I know I am not a professional and I could improve in a lot of ways. I enjoy baking and I won't let imperfection stop me from doing what I love!!

It's been a while!

So I know it has been about two years since I have posted anything, but I figured I might as well start trying to blog again! I am going to post all kinds of things on this blog.
